This Southern Pimento Cheese adds a little extra tanginess by adding the Worcestershire Sauce and Sour Cream! It's sure to be a big hit at your next cookout!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (I used Duke's)

  • 1 cup Extra Sharp Cheddar (Cracker Barrel)

  • 1 cup Vermont Sharp White Cheddar (Cracker Barrel)

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 tablespoons sour cream

  • 4 ounce jar diced pimentos, drained

  • Garnish with black pepper, parsley leaves and paprika

Directions

  • Insert a paddle attachment in a stand mixer and beat together the cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth. You may need to push down the sides.
  • Add in the cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder, cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce and sour cream and beat until blended.
  • Add in the pimentos and beat until blended.
  • Garnish with black pepper, parsley leaves and paprika.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes prior to serving.

  • Yields: 16 - 2 Tablespoon servings - 161.36 calories, 16.33g fat, 188.66mg sodium, .95g carbohydrate, .20g fiber, .65g net carbs, .34g sugar and 4.2g protein.
