kcalThis creamy soup is great for a cold winter's night or anytime! You can add a dollop of sour cream or Sherry if you wish and top off with some sprinkles of dill weed.
1 pound asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1 inch pieces
2 cups chicken broth, divided
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 T butter
2 T Arrowroot flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 cup half and half
