Chicken Crust Margherita Pizza

This is a quick and easy crust that can be altered for different types of pizza and toppings!

Ingredients

  • Crust
  • 2 - 5 oz. cans of Chicken Breast in Water

  • 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 Large Egg

  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning

  • Toppings
  • 2 tablespoons Rao's Pizza Sauce

  • 2 ounces fresh Mozzarella cheese

  • 6 - 8 fresh basil leaves

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Drain the canned chicken and get out as much water as you can.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the chicken on it. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 to get moisture out.
  • Add parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning and egg to a bowl and mix.
  • Remove chicken from the oven and allow to cool then mix it in with the egg and cheese mixture. Also turn the oven up to 500 degrees.
  • Line the baking sheet with new parchment paper and spread the mixture evenly and in a circle on top. About 8 to 10 inches in diameter. Like a thin crust pizza.
  • Bake the crust for another 8 - 10 minutes at 500 degrees. It will look a little golden brown.
  • Remove the crust from the oven and add 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce, spread evenly. Add slices of mozzarella cheese. Bake for another 8 to 10 minutes at 500 degrees. Dependent upon your toppings.
  • Remove and add fresh leaves of basil.

  • Serving is 1/2 of the pizza - CRUST - per serving 147 calories, 5.5g fat, 24.7g protein, 1g carb. TOPPINGS - per serving 80 calories, 5.75g fat, 5.25g protein and 2g net carbs.
