I serve these over a bed of zoodles topped with my own red sauce and parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground beef, 85% lean

  • 1 egg

  • 2 t sea salt

  • 2 T basil, fresh

  • 1 T Italian Seasoning

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Mix ground beef, egg, sea salt, basil & Italian seasoning in a mixing bowl.
  • Form into 1 1/2 inch balls (about 10) and place on a rimmed baking sheet.
  • Cook in oven for 20 - 25 minutes or until meatball reaches an internal temperature of 150 degrees.
  • Remove and allow to cool.
